This bitted headstall features a free-sliding bit design that creates gag action without applying pressure to the mouth bars. The single-jointed sweet iron snaffle mouthpiece helps elevate the horse in turns while encouraging proper leg positioning underneath. Fully adjustable via rope halter style knots, this headstall should never be used with a curb chain as it restricts the draw action. Note that the sweet iron material is intentionally designed to rust over time.
